Summer Barn Painting

My sister is a photographer who loves old barns. Most, if not all, of my subjects are her barns in pictures that I have painted. This cheerful little barn in north central Michigan was the first barn I painted and it's still my favorite. As always, Barn Paintings are exclusively done with cosmetics, make up and health & beauty aids as their medium. Nothing else touches the canvas. This sky is light blue eye shadow. The roof smacks of eye liner and an eye shadow/nail polish combination and the barn itself is some great lipstick. Circa 2014
